GR Yaris Morizo RR Limited Launch and Sold via Lottery System

JAKARTA - Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) will present the GR Yaris Morizo RR in a limited edition. This special edition model was developed together with the Chairman of Toyota Motor Corporation and Master Driver Akio Toyoda, or known as Morizo.

The car was born from real-world experience on the track, after the Toyota Gazoo Rookie Racing (TGRR) team underwent a tough challenge at the 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours. TGR, which has the mission of making better racing cars, collaborates closely with Rookie Racing, which has been honing GR vehicles.

The collaboration between the two then went beyond the boundaries of the organization and united in a container called TGRR. Where, working based on roles, not positions, under Morizo's leadership to accelerate the development of high-performance cars.

In the Nurburgring 24 Hours event, Morizo went down as a team racer and drove the GR Yaris number 109 equipped with the Gazoo Racing Direct automatic transmission. Even though the track conditions were said to be very heavy, he was able to complete more laps than scheduled.

After the team finished the race, Morizo expressed his satisfaction with the GR Yaris character, including the 8-speed automatic transmission which he considered helped him conquer 15 laps. Toyota calls the GR Yaris Morizo RR special because it presents the unity between the car and the driver that was nurtured at the Nürburgring to highway use.

As a special aerodynamic part, the GR Yaris Morizo RR uses a carbon fiber rear wing developed from the Nürburgring 24 Hours competition. Other exterior improvements include a front spoiler, side skirts, and a carbon fiber hood.

This car comes with a Gravel Khaki exterior color which is Morizo's signature and favorite color. The Piano Black touch on the radiator grille makes the appearance look slimmer and sharper, while the rims come in Matte Bronze.

The gear shifter and the steering wheel switch are also modified to improve operation in motor sports, with an independent arrangement. It is claimed to be inspired by the lessons of using a similar switch on the GR Yaris Rally2 rally car.
