UN: More than 9.3 million Sudanese refugees, 21 million people at risk of acute food

JAKARTA - United Nations (UN) data records that around 9.3 million people in Sudan are still internally displaced, while more than 4.3 million others have fled abroad and put a huge pressure on Sudan's neighboring countries.

Dilansir ANTARA dari WAFA-OANA, Badan-badan PBB kembali menegaskan gambaran suram tersebut saat Sudan memasuki 1.000 hari konflik.

They described the situation in the country as the world's largest famine crisis, the largest ongoing refugee emergency, and the high number of civilians killed, injured, and permanently disabled.

The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stated that Sudan had fallen into one of the worst humanitarian crises of this century, with more than 21 million people suffering from acute food insecurity.
