Minister of Education and Culture Stella emphasized that research at universities must produce real impacts for the community.
He assessed that the campus has a strategic role as a solution center for various development issues in the region.
Minister of Education and Culture Stella also encouraged lecturers and students of Unsa to be actively involved in research from an early age.
According to him, research activities train critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are very needed in the world of work.
"Students who are accustomed to doing research will be better prepared to face future challenges," he said.
In response to this, UTS Rector Niken Saptarini conveyed the campus' commitment to developing research that comes from local potential and regional needs.
Various studies and innovations are directed to support the food sector, the environment, and the use of technology that is relevant to the conditions of the Sumbawa people.
Meanwhile, the Rector of Unsa Syaifuddin Iskandar conveyed that his party continues to encourage the strengthening of the culture of research in the Higher Education campus environment.
He hopes that the visit of Wamendiktisaintek will be an important motivation for lecturers and students to be more active in developing research that is beneficial to the community.
