Bank Tanah Helps Affected People by PSN Supporting IKN

JAKARTA - The Land Bank provides assistance to residents of North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, affected by the National Strategic Project (PSN) supporting the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in managing land for the Agrarian Reform Program by developing fruit crops.

"Assistance and assistance of 200 fruit tree seedlings were given to residents of the recipients of the Agrarian Reform land," said the Head of the Planning and Implementation of Agrarian Reform of the Land Bank, Nova Suryandaru, quoted by Antara.

Agricultural consultants regularly come to provide ways to plant and care for fruit plants.

The Land Bank Agency also prepares fertilizers to support the success of planting, and cooperation with the North Penajam Paser Regency Government regarding supervision and assistance through agricultural extension workers so that plants can grow optimally to achieve more effective results.

Assistance for fruit tree seedlings is adjusted to the recommendations of the North Penajam Paser Regency Agriculture Service, trees that are suitable for tropical regions, such as durian, mango, rambutan, and kelengkeng.

"The Land Bank wants to empower residents to be more productive in utilizing agrarian reform land," he said.

The program is a follow-up after the handover of use rights certificates to around 40 PSN-affected residents who are beneficiaries of land reform so that they can be optimally utilized through the cultivation of hard crops.

"In the future, there are also follow-up programs to encourage the more productive and sustainable use of land," said Nova Suryandaru.

Residents appreciate the continuation of the Land Bank program after the handover of the land use rights certificate for agrarian reform land, because it is considered promising economically and environmentally friendly.

Assistance in fruit seedlings and accompaniment from the Land Bank Agency, said one of the residents of the Agrarian Reform Program, Tamsil, is expected to increase the yield of the garden and also the economy of the residents.
