Rizky Ridho Assures Persija Will Fight to the Death Against Persib
JAKARTA - Persija captain Rizky Ridho ensures his team will fight hard to get the best result in the 17th week of the Super League match against Persib.
The classic duel, which is often called the Indonesian Derby, will be held for the first time this season at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), Bandung, tomorrow Sunday at 15.30 WIB.
Apart from involving the two big teams, this match also caught a lot of attention because Persib and Persija were both in good form with both having 35 points. Persib is in third place, while Persija is in second place.
"Thank you friends for taking the time to support us in training before going to Bandung," Ridho told thousands of Jakmania, quoting Antara.
"Of course with your support like this and so on we will fight hard to fight there," he added.
From the last 10 meetings, Persib outperformed Persija with five wins and three draws.
Not only that, during Bojan Hodak's coaching at Persib, they have never lost to Persija.
Even though the statistical record is in favor of the host, Ridho is not afraid.
He hopes to bring three points from Bandung, to bring the Macan Kemayoran to the top of the standings or half-season champion with 38 points.
"I can assure everyone here, I won't mess around. Thank you guys, hopefully we can bring three points to Jakarta," said the former Persebaya player.
