TNI AD Completes Construction of Emergency Bridge in Baktiya North Aceh

BANDA ACEH - The Indonesian Army (TNI AD) has completed the construction of an emergency bridge (bailey) connecting Buket Dara Baro Village and Cinta Makmur Village, Baktiya District, North Aceh Regency, which was previously damaged by flooding.

"The commitment of the TNI AD is solid and always present at the forefront. The progress of the bridge construction is 100 percent and can be used by the community," said the ZeniKodam IskandarMuda (IM) Task Force Captain Czi Ahmad Risman Nasution, reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 9.

He said, the bailey bridge became the focus of hope for the community from the two villages, as the only vital access connecting economic activities and citizen mobility.

"The team works tirelessly for the benefit of the community during the recovery of the disaster. The work is carried out according to safety standards and emergency response technical specifications," he said.

Ahmad said that the construction of the bailey bridge involved joint personnel from a number of TNI AD units from Zeni Kodam IM, Yonzipur 16/DA, Koramil 13/Baktiya, and assisted by local residents.

"With the completion of the construction of this bridge, thank God the activities and mobility of residents in both villages are back to normal," said Captain Czi Ahmad Risman Nasution.

Meanwhile, one of the village officials of Buket Dara Baro, Amin Mustofa, thanked the TNI AD for helping the community build the bailey bridge.

"Thank you to the TNI who have helped build this bridge, so that inter-district access is connected again and the activities of the residents can return to normal," he said.
