Ford Guarantees Availability of Spare Parts for its Legacy Models in Indonesia

JAKARTA - Ford vehicle owners in Indonesia do not need to worry about the availability of spare parts. RMA Indonesia confirms its commitment to maintaining spare parts supply, not only for the latest models, but also for old vehicles that are still faithfully used in the country.

Head of After Sales RMA Indonesia Elyus Dwi Erwanto, said the availability of spare parts is the key to the longevity of Ford vehicles in Indonesia. According to him, not a few Ford units have been over 15 years old but still operate normally thanks to consistent aftersales support.

"RMA Indonesia together with the official dealer network throughout Indonesia, including Ford Bekasi, ensures that spare parts for old and new vehicles are still available. In fact, the 2007 production unit in front of us can still be used until today because the spare parts are still maintained," said Elyus to reporters, Thursday, January 8.

He explained, Ford has prepared a supply of fast moving and medium moving spare parts regularly at all official dealers. Meanwhile, for the slow moving category, its availability is still guaranteed and can be met according to customer needs, with the support of the supply chain from Thailand as well as other sources that have been connected with Ford.

"We still support vehicles of the 2008 generation or even production of 2005. This is Ford's strength together with dealer partners in maintaining old customer vehicles so that they remain usable and comfortable to use," he continued.

Through this strategy, RMA Indonesia emphasizes that even though Ford plays in a relatively specific market segment, customer loyalty remains the top priority. The after-sales service network and certainty of spare parts are said to be the foundation for maintaining this trust.

"Ford's segmentation is not big, but aftersales is our backbone. With solid services, consumers can be sure that Ford remains reliable as a daily vehicle," concluded Elyus.
