Taeyeon SNSD Extends Contract with SM After 19 Years

JAKARTA - Taeyeon SNSD has renewed her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment. After 19 years, she continued the contract as a solo artist and member of Girls' Generation or SNSD.

"We are excited to continue once again with Taeyeon, an artist we cherish for the trust and relationship we have built over the years," SM Entertainment said on Friday, January 9.

"We will continue to support Taeyeon in various ways so that she can shine brighter as a global artist," he said.

Taeyeon debuted as a member of SNSD in 2007. Then she became a solo singer in 2015 and was active as a singer and artist for 19 years.

In 2025, Taeyeon held a The Tense tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her solo debut in Asia. She ended the year by releasing the album Panorama: The Best of Taeyeon.

This album is a compilation album containing songs released by Taeyeon during 10 years of solo career.

On the other hand, Taeyeon has also been active as a panellist on Amazing Saturday for five years and Sing Again from 2025 to next year.

Taeyeon is also active with SNSD in various appearances in the midst of the active members who are now under different agencies.
