Polda Metro Analisa Barang Bukti Kasus Komika Pandji Pragiwaksono

JAKARTA - Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, confirmed the police report against comedian Pandji Pragiwaksono, regarding the alleged case of hate speech.

The report, which was registered with the number LP/B/166/I/2026/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA, followed the material of a stand-up comedy presented by Pandji in an event titled Mens Rea.

"It is true that on January 8 there was a report from the public on behalf of RARW about alleged incitement in public and alleged blasphemy related to statements in an event entitled Mens Rea," said Budi Hermanto when confirmed, Friday, January 9, 2026.

According to Budi, at this time investigators will still clarify the parties concerned and analyze the existing evidence, before determining the next legal steps.

"Investigators will clarify and analyze the reported evidence," he explained.

He also appealed to the public to remain wise in delivering information and provide space for law enforcement officers to work professionally.
