Alibaba Cloud Named an AI Infrastructure Leader by Forrester
JAKARTA - Alibaba Cloud, the backbone of digital technology and intelligence from the Alibaba Group, was named a Leader in The Forrester Wave: AI Infrastructure Solutions, Q4 2025 report.
In the report, Alibaba Cloud was among the top five leaders of a total of 13 global vendors evaluated based on current offering and strategy (current product strategy and capabilities).
Alibaba Cloud achieved the highest score (5.00) on seven out of 13 current offering criteria, including configuration, data management, management-operations, fault tolerance, efficiency, and deployment locale.
In the strategy category, Alibaba Cloud also received the highest score in the roadmap and pricing flexibility and transparency aspects.
Forrester highlighted Alibaba Cloud's solid roadmap, with a coordinated approach between architecture, infrastructure upgrades, and governance to address long-term AI needs, not just current demands.
Alibaba Cloud's simple and transparent pricing model is also easier to understand than its competitors, allowing customers to plan and adopt services more easily.
In addition, the report also noted the high appreciation of customers for the performance, scalability, speed of open-source innovation, and the quality of customer service from Alibaba Cloud.

In its evaluation, Forrester specifically focused on assessing the core AI infrastructure layers such as compute, network, and storage components - as well as their role in enabling effective AI implementation.
In February 2025, Alibaba Group announced plans to invest at least 380 billion yuan (Rp914 trillion) in three years to accelerate the development of cloud and AI infrastructure.
This investment will strengthen Alibaba Cloud's foundation in supporting the next wave of AI innovation, while ensuring businesses and developers have a reliable platform to innovate and grow.
