Milo Manheim and Teagan Croft to Star in Live-Action Version of Tangled
Disney has found two lead actors for the live-action version of Tangled. Milo Manheim and Teagan Croft will play Flynn Rider and Rapunzel.
Tangled is a 2010 animated film that tells the story of Rapunzel, a long-haired princess who is rescued from a tower by a man named Flynn Rider. The two main actors are played by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi.
The success of the animated film developed into a short film in 2012 and a series that aired on Disney Channel.
Michael Gracey will be directed by Michael Gracey who previously directed The Greatest Showman. The script was also written by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson.
Teagan Croft is known for her role in the DC series, Titans. Milo Manheim also previously starred in the Disney series Zombies. Both actors posted this news indicating their involvement.
Tangled is rumored to have been developing this film's production since December 2024 after several live-action films they have done over the past few years, including Snow White and Lilo & Stitch.
This production was delayed after the results of the live-action version of Snow White failed to reach the box office at the cinema. They also searched for two main stars for their latest film.
In addition to Tangled, the live-action version of Moana is also scheduled to hit theaters on July 10.
