PLN Gives Power Add Discount Promo 50 Percent until January 20

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) again provides a discount of 50 percent for electricity load increase for customers who make transactions on the PLN Mobile application.

This promo, which is valid from January 7 to 20, 2026, is intended for low-voltage single-phase customers in all tariff groups, with an initial power of 450 Volt Ampere (VA) to 5,500 VA who want to increase power to 7,700 VA.

PLN Retail and Commercial Director, Adi Priyanto, said that this program provides an opportunity for customers who want to optimize the use of electricity through adding power at an affordable cost.

"This program is a form of appreciation for PLN's loyal customers by providing convenience and direct benefits for the community in meeting reliable and efficient electricity needs," said Adi, Wednesday, January 7.

Adi added, this promo is only valid for customers who have been registered before January 1, 2026 and have paid all electricity bills or other obligations.

"We invite the public to make the most of this discount promo to support daily activities and productivity," added Adi.

As an illustration, a customer with an initial power of 900 VA who wants to increase power to 7,700 VA only has to pay Rp3,294,600, 50 percent more economical than the normal cost of Rp6,589,200.

Furthermore, Adi explained, the mechanism of this program is carried out in full through PLN Mobile.

For prepaid customers, it is enough to make a minimum of one token purchase transaction, while postpaid customers by paying the electricity bill.

After the transaction is successful, customers receive an additional power discount e-voucher through the "Reward" feature on PLN Mobile or registered email.

Then, customers just need to enter the e-voucher code when applying for power addition at PLN Mobile.

After the payment is verified, the local PLN unit will immediately process the application according to the applicable provisions.

Adi said that each PLN Mobile account received a maximum of four e-voucher power additions during the promo period to provide equal opportunities for all customers.

"People also don't need to worry because connecting to additional electricity is easy and fast, by making a practical application and being done digitally through the PLN Mobile application," concluded Adi.
