Sampang Regency Agriculture Service Tractor Stolen, Police Check CCTV Footage

JAKARTA - Police are investigating a case of theft of agricultural machinery (alsintan) in the form of a hand tractor at the Office of the Agriculture and Food Security Service (Disperta-KP) of the Sampang Regency Government (Pemkab), East Java (Jatim).

Head of Public Relations of Sampang Police, AKP Eko Puji Waluyo, said the report of the loss of the hand tractor belonging to the Disperta-KP of the Sampang Regency Government was based on the report received by the Sampang Police.

"Currently we are starting to collect evidence and evidence materials and check the surveillance cameras (CCTV) that are in the Disperta-KP office and those around the scene of the incident," he said in Sampang, Wednesday, quoted by Antara.

He explained, the hand tractor belonging to the Disperta-KP of the Sampang Regency Government that was reported missing was one unit.

The incident of the loss of the state asset was known on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at around 07.36 WIB.

The agricultural machinery was previously in the storage area of the backyard of the Disperta-KP Sampang office.

"According to the report, the guard of the Disperta-KP Deddy office at that time carried out a routine check around the office environment, and he found that one tractor unit stored in the storage warehouse was reduced, from the previous 19 units to 18 units," said Eko.

When he learned of the condition, the office guard then reported the alleged loss to one of the heads of the field (Kabid) in the Sampang Disperta-KP environment, Nurudin, then reported the incident to the Sampang Police.

The hand tractor that was reported missing was a Quick G 3000 Zeva brand with a Kubota RD 85 DI-2S drive motor, with frame number A25 08683 and engine number ASS 0082.

Meanwhile, according to the Head of Disperta-KP of the Sampang Regency Government, Suyono, the case of theft of hand tractors at his office this time was the second time. A similar case also occurred in August 2024 when the agricultural machinery was to be handed over to the beneficiary farmer group.

"We have reported this case to the Sampang Police and we hope that the perpetrator can be arrested immediately, because this theft case is not the first, but the second," he said.
