Starlink Implementation by Lintasarta Grows 400 Percent in One Year

JAKARTA - Lintasarta announced the strengthening of a strategic collaboration with Starlink, an internet service based on low-orbit satellite technology from SpaceX, in accelerating the equalization of internet access in Indonesia.

The strengthening of this partnership was marked by a visit by SpaceX's senior management to Indonesia in December 2025 to meet with Lintasarta management.

Since the signing of the cooperation in August 2024, this collaboration has recorded very significant developments. In the past year, the implementation of the Starlink service managed by Lintasarta has grown by more than 400%, including in the 3T region (Behind, Ahead, Outside).

Lintasarta Director & Chief Telco Services Officer Zulfi Hadi said the acceleration of Starlink adoption reflects the real need for fast, reliable, secure connectivity that can reach previously difficult to connect areas.

"This collaboration is not only about providing connectivity, but also building the foundation of Indonesia's digital sovereignty. We ensure that technology is implemented with strong governance, maintained security, and real benefits for national economic growth," said Zulfi in his statement.

Zulfi also added that the collaboration with Starlink is an important part of strengthening Lintasarta's position as an AI Factory in the Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) Group.

Starlink services are integrated with Lintasarta's cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and AI collaboration ecosystem.

SpaceX's Director of Commercial Sales, Andrew Matlock, emphasized Starlink's commitment to contributing to the development of Indonesia's digital infrastructure through a long-term collaboration with Lintasarta.

"Indonesia has a strategic role in strengthening the digital ecosystem of the region. Together with Lintasarta, we want to be part of the national digital transformation journey by providing inclusive, reliable connectivity and supporting sustainable growth," said Andrew.

Going forward, Lintasarta and Starlink will continue to expand the reach of national services and explore collaborative initiatives to support strategic sectors, ranging from industry, public services, education, to health, in the spirit of Empowering Indonesia for the great vision of Indonesia Emas 2045.
