Ministry of Manpower asks the public to be aware of hoax information regarding BSU 2026

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) appeals to the public to be wary of false or hoax information in the name of the 2026 Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) program, especially those containing unofficial registration links and potential fraud.

This clarification was conveyed following the circulation of various uploads on social media, chain messages, and news in the mass media that involved the 2026 BSU program, which caused unrest in the community.

Head of the Labor and Manpower Information Bureau, Faried Abdurrahman Nur Yuliono, emphasized the importance of public caution in responding to BSU information circulating outside official government channels.

"We appeal to the public not to easily believe in hoaxes and disinformation about BSU, especially those directing registration through unofficial links, because BSU does not require self-registration. Official BSU information is only delivered through the bsu.kemnaker.go.id page and the official social media of the Ministry of Manpower," said Faried, Wednesday, January 7.

Faried said that the last distribution of BSU was carried out in 2025 with a total number of recipients of 16,048,472 workers/workers in accordance with the applicable provisions.

Faried emphasized that until now there has been no official policy or information regarding the distribution of BSU in 2026.

"We need to convey that until now there has been no information related to the BSU in 2026. If in the future there is a new policy, the Ministry of Manpower will convey it publicly through official channels," said Faried.

Faried also invited the public to always check the accuracy of information before sharing it, and to report if they find indications of fraud in the name of the BSU program so as not to cause losses in the community.
