XGIMI Enters the Smart Glasses Market, Introducing Three MemoMind Models at CES 2026

JAKARTA - Projector manufacturer XGIMI officially entered the market of AI-based smart glasses by launching a new brand called MemoMind at the CES 2026 event. Through MemoMind, XGIMI presents a series of smart glasses that combine optical technology, artificial intelligence, and lightweight design. In total there will be three models, although so far only complete information is available for two of them.

The main model introduced is Memo One, which is positioned as a flagship variant. This glasses offers a more complete smart glasses experience, with a dual-lens based dual screen and integrated speakers. Memo One features the MemoMind operating system in full, so users can access various smart features directly through the glasses display.

The second model is Memo Air Display, a simpler and lighter version. It weighs only about 28.9 grams, making it one of the lightest smart glasses in its class. Unlike Memo One, this model only carries a single lens screen and strips away a number of features to reduce weight and complexity.

XGIMI said that the MemoMind glasses will be available in eight frame style options and five handle designs (temple). The device also supports prescription lenses according to user needs. For the screen technology, XGIMI chooses to use a microLED panel instead of a waveguide. However, this approach can potentially make it difficult for users with nearsightedness to read text on the screen.

In terms of artificial intelligence, MemoMind is equipped with an AI assistant that can perform translation, summarization, note-taking, reminders, and contextual guidance. These features are designed to run in the background with minimal visual interference. The AI system uses a hybrid large language model approach, which dynamically selects the best technology for each task, including OpenAI, Azure, and Qwen.

In addition to Memo One and Memo Air Display, XGIMI also confirmed that it is developing the third model of the MemoMind line. However, the company has not revealed any details about the specifications or the product's position in the market.

As for the price, the XGIMI Memo One is priced at 599 US dollars and is rumored to be open for pre-order after the CES 2026 event. This launch marks a new step for XGIMI in expanding its product portfolio from projectors to AI-based wearable devices.
