Police in Bali Become Victims of Fraud, Motor that is Rented Even Sold for Rp9 Million 

BULELENG - A police officer with the initials IBG in Badung Regency, Bali, became a victim of embezzlement after his rented motorcycle was sold.

This case is being handled by the Buleleng Police, after the victim reported to the Buleleng Police Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) in early January.

"The victim has reported to the Buleleng Police SPKT for further handling," said Buleleng Police Public Relations Officer, Iptu Yohana Rosalin Diaz, Tuesday, January 6.

The incident occurred in July 2024 when the victim rented his motorcycle for Rp50 thousand / day to the perpetrator with the initials KAM.

Initially the rent payment was smooth, but in November 2025 the perpetrator began to be difficult to contact to collect rent money.

The victim then looked for the perpetrator in Denpasar City. When he met, the victim was surprised, his motorcycle had been sold for Rp. 9 million to an unknown person.

"As a result of this incident, the victim suffered a loss of Rp. 9,000,000," he said.
