BNN Raid Apartment LV Factory Containing Drugs
JAKARTA - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) RI carried out a raid on an apartment in North Jakarta. The apartment was used as a place to mix narcotics.
As a result, officers managed to confiscate MDMA and Ethomidate materials smuggled from abroad mixed with nicotine oil and flavoring liquid to be used as liquid vape (LV) before being moved to another location.
Furthermore, the development was carried out to a warehouse in the Pademangan area, North Jakarta.
"We confiscated suspected narcotics, dozens of cartridges of liquid vape containing ready-to-distribute narcotics, thousands of empty cartridges, as well as various ingredients and equipment for mixing," said Deputy Head of BNN Eradication, Budi Wibowo, Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
From the results of the investigation, this network applied a layered disguise mode. In addition to mixing narcotics into LV, raw materials, including Ethomidate, are also packaged to resemble energy drink sachets that look like legal products.
This modus operandi is used to deceive officers, disguise narcotics as everyday consumer products, and facilitate cross-border smuggling.
"The vape liquid containing narcotics was then packaged using the trademark Love Ind which had been prepared by the suspect PS alias S," he said.
"Each cartridge is sold at a price ranging from IDR 2 million to IDR 5 million, depending on the content of harmful substances in it," he said.
Based on the number of evidence seized, this network is estimated to be able to produce thousands of narcotic cartridges.
"Assuming one cartridge can be consumed by 3 to 5 people, this disclosure is estimated to have saved thousands to tens of thousands of young generations from exposure to synthetic narcotics with high risks to health and life safety," he said.
