Mahindra Officially Launches XUV 7XO 2026, Check Out Its Specifications

JAKARTA - Mahindra officially launched the XUV 7XO 2026 or the new name of the XUV700 model. This SUV comes with various improvements from the exterior design to major improvements in terms of technology, features, and comfort.

Quoting from the Rushlane website, Tuesday, January 6, the global launch of the Mahindra XUV7XO took place today in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This car has a new look and a series of improved features and comfort, while bringing a revolution in terms of technology.

The launch price of the Mahindra XUV7XO is priced from 136,000 rupees or around Rp254 million. In terms of design, it comes with sharper lines, but the core dimensions and powertrain of the XUV700 are still maintained.

The LED daytime running lights in the shape of a 'boomerang' which are a hallmark are part of the new front view along with the redesigned grille and bumper, while the flat 'smart' door handle is still retained from the previous model.

Along with the redesigned side profile, the rear bumper and LED taillights have also been redesigned, while 19-inch alloy wheels with a new look and a wider paint color palette complete the exterior changes.

On the inside, the cabin receives a more substantial upgrade, with all versions featuring a 12.3-inch 'from end to end' digital screen (up from 10.25 inches) that stretches across the width of the dashboard, combining multimedia display and instrument cluster, as well as reducing the number of physical buttons.

The car also comes equipped with a 540-degree camera as part of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), as well as wireless phone charging and new Alexa Built-in functionality with artificial intelligence ChatGPT.

The new two-spoke steering wheel is one of the flagship features in the cabin, while the top-of-the-line variant adds a Harman Kardon 16-speaker audio system, up from the previous 12 speakers.

The drivetrain remains the same with the same output claim, which in Australia includes a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 149kW of power and 380Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
