The agenda of the Hambalang Cabinet Retreat, Airlangga said there was no special direction but focused on the beginning of the year meeting and program

BOGOR - Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto said the agenda of the Red and White Cabinet retreat held at the Garuda Yaksa complex, Hambalang, Bogor, Tuesday, January 6, 2026, was focused on the early year meeting and discussion of government programs.

"This is an early year meeting. Later there will be discussions about programs," said Airlangga, who was present at Hambalang, to reporters, Tuesday, January 6.

When asked about the possibility of speakers from abroad, Airlangga admitted that he had not monitored. Likewise, regarding the main theme and special directions in the retreat. "Not yet monitored. Later we will monitor," he said briefly.

The Red and White Cabinet retreat is scheduled to last until the evening and will be attended by the cabinet ranks according to the invitation that has been submitted.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto had held a Red and White Cabinet retreat at Akmil Magelang on October 25-27, 2024. The agenda aims to strengthen collaboration and coordination between ministries so that government programs run optimally.

During the first retreat, the ministers received briefings ranging from corruption prevention, development planning and budgeting, to bureaucratic planning, including discipline training.

Separately, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto confirmed the existence of the second volume retreat which will be attended by members of the Red and White Cabinet.

"The invitation (retreat) is only for tomorrow, for all members of the cabinet," said Bima Arya in Jakarta, Monday, January 5. He added, participants in the retreat are asked to wear light brown or khaki suits.
