Honor Power 2 Officially Released, Offers Bright Screen and Jumbo Battery
JAKARTA - Honor officially introduced its latest mid-range phone, the Power 2, in China. This device comes with a variety of new breakthroughs, ranging from its large battery capacity to its very high peak brightness level.
From the various specifications revealed by Honor, the Power 2 screen is one of the most striking improvements. The reason is that this phone adopts an LTPS OLED screen with a peak brightness of 8,000 nits, one of the highest in the industry.
Thanks to this brightness level, users don't have to worry about using the phone in the sun. The display is still clearly visible because the sunlight will not reflect on the screen. The 6.79-inch screen used also supports a 1,5K resolution.
For its battery life, Honor uses a 10,080mAh battery. Even though the battery power offered is quite large, the device is still slim with a thickness of 7.98mm. Power 2 is also still light to carry anywhere thanks to its weight of only 216 grams.
In addition to offering the best battery and screen, this phone also offers quite powerful performance. Honor uses the Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset from MediaTek which manages to achieve a large AnTuTu score, up to 2.4 million points. This is one of the best offers for mid-range phones.
Meanwhile, for the camera, this phone uses a 50MP sensor with OIS stability. There is also an ultra-wide camera that can take pictures from a wide angle. Honor says that this device is already running the Android 16 operating system (OS) based on MagicOS 10.
In terms of durability, this device has an IP68 and IP69K certification. Power 2 comes in three color options, namely Phantom Black, Snowfield White, and Rising Sun Orange. Although it has been released in China, it is not known whether this device will be available in Indonesia.
