Susi Air Reopens Pilot Flight Route to the Interior of Kaltara
JAKARTA - The airline PT ASI Pudjiastuti Aviation (Susi Air) has reopened a pioneering flight to the interior, border and areas with limited access to transportation in North Kalimantan.

"The first passenger flight will start operating on January 5, 2026, and is planned to last until December 31, 2026, according to the schedule that has been set," he said.
BLU UPBU Class I Utama Juwata Tarakan carried out the Pioneer Air Transportation Subsidy for Passengers in the 2026 Fiscal Year in the North Kalimantan Province (Kaltara).
This policy is part of the Air Transportation Directorate General's program in order to increase air transport connectivity, especially in inland areas, borders and areas with limited access to transportation.
In addition, to support the smooth mobility of the community and the distribution of basic services.
Based on the results of the selection process, the implementation of the passenger pilot flight at the Tarakan Regional Coordinator for Fiscal Year 2026 was carried out by PT ASI Pudjiastuti Aviation.
The pilot passenger flight routes include connecting Tarakan City with a number of airports in Kaltara, including Long Bawan, Long Apung, Malinau, Nunukan, Tanjung Selor, Maratua, Mahak Baru, Data Dian, Long Sule, Long Layu and other pilot routes.
The pioneering air transportation tariff is determined in accordance with government subsidy provisions to ensure affordability for the public.
In its implementation, the BLU Office of the Main Class I UPBU Juwata Tarakan continues to coordinate with the airline operators, Perum LPPNPI (AirNav Indonesia), the local government and other related institutions to ensure the safety, security and smooth operation of flights.
