Police Arrest 5 Robbery Suspects At Pademangan, Victims Spied On When Perpetrators Entered The Bank

JAKARTA - A robbery case that occurred in the Pademangan area, North Jakarta which had gone viral on social media was finally revealed. The police arrested 5 suspects.

"We managed to secure the perpetrator, last May 26," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Friday, May 28.

The suspects who were arrested had the initials Y, AR, RA, HN, and H. They had their respective roles in the robbery.

For suspects Y and A acted as executors. Especially Y, who took money and shot the victim in the thigh.

"Suspect Y is the mastermind of the crime. He planned it. Suspect AR also joined Y," said Yusri.

Meanwhile, the suspect RA is said to have determined potential victims. The perpetrator mapped the victim by entering the bank.

"He determines the victims starting from the bank. His job is to spy, supervise and look for victims," said Yusri.

Meanwhile, the suspects HN and H were sellers of firearms and ammunition. Both of them sold to suspect Y illegally.

"So there are two firearms, Y is indeed his own firearm because it was brought from Sumatra there. Meanwhile, the one held by AR was bought from HN for Rp. 11 million," Yusri continued.

"H is preparing or selling the bullets. Selling 10 bullets for Rp 1.5 million," added Yusri.

Currently, the police are still hunting down two other perpetrators with the initials G and HR. Both of them are jockeys or hitchhikers from suspects Y and AR.

"The two are DPOs, (first) the initials G is the seat of the suspect Y. Then the second one is HR. This is joko from AR," said Yusri.

This gang of robbers took action in the Pademangan area, North Jakarta, on Friday, May 21. They stole Rp25 million in cash.

Not only did he seize property, the perpetrator also shot the victim in the thigh. At that time the victim had put up a fight and refused to hand over the bag containing money.
