KPK Suspects Former CKTR Secretary to Receive Money from Ade Kuswara

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that the former Secretary of the Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning (Sekdis CKTR) of Bekasi Regency, West Java, Beni Saputra (BS), received money from the non-active Bekasi Regent, Ade Kuswara Kunang (ADK).

"This BS brother is suspected of receiving a number of flows from the ADK and HMK (HM Kunang), who is the father of ADK or the Regent of Bekasi," said KPK Spokesperson, Budi Prasetyo, at the KPK Red and White Building, Jakarta, Monday, January 5, reported by ANTARA.

He said the KPK would investigate the alleged receipt of money obtained by Beni Saputra.

"Investigators will continue to investigate or investigate the alleged receipt of the money for what it is. Does it stop at BS's brother, or does it still flow back? That is, is this BS brother as an estuary or is he as an anchor?" he said.

The KPK suspects that Beni Saputra received money from other parties, or outside of Ade Kuswara and HM Kunang.

"Thus, this will continue to be investigated," he said.

Previously, the KPK carried out the tenth hand-in-hand operation in 2025, and arrested ten people in Bekasi Regency, West Java, on December 18, 2025.

On December 19, 2025, the KPK revealed that eight out of ten people were taken to the KPK Red and White Building, Jakarta, to be intensively examined. Two of the eight people included Ade Kuswara and his father, HM Kunang.

On the same date, the KPK announced the seizure of hundreds of millions of rupiah in a case allegedly related to a project bribe in Bekasi Regency.

On December 20, 2025, the KPK announced that the Regent of Bekasi Ade Kuswara Kunang (ADK), the father of the Regent of Bekasi and Head of Sukadami Village, South Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, HM Kunang (HMK), and a private party named Sarjan (SRJ) as suspects in the alleged bribery case.

The KPK said Ade Kuswara and HM Kunang were suspects in alleged bribery, while Sarjan was a suspect in alleged bribery.

Meanwhile, on December 29, 2025, the KPK had summoned Beni Saputra. However, the person concerned did not confirm his absence, so the KPK asked for cooperation.
