Pramono: Bank Jakarta's Collaboration with VISA Increases Public Trust

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung welcomed the launch of the Bank Jakarta Visa Debit Card as a collaboration in building a healthy Bank.

"If trust can be built, I believe, this bank will fly. So the collaboration with Visa, in my opinion, is one of the steps to build trust, build trust with the public," said Governor Pramono at the launch of the VISA Debit Card Bank Jakarta at Lippo Mall Kemang, Jakarta, Monday, January 5.

The launch of the Bank Jakarta VISA debit card was inaugurated by the Governor of the Province of Jakarta Pramono Anung, Deputy Governor of the DKI Jakarta Province Rano Karno, Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD Khoirudin together with Bank Jakarta President Director, Agus H. Widodo, and Country Manager Visa Indonesia, Vira Widiyasari.

Bank Jakarta's collaboration with VISA is carried out in order to expand global transaction access for customers while supporting the strengthening of Jakarta's city branding as a Global City. This strategic collaboration with global payment principal Visa is an important part of Bank Jakarta's transformation agenda towards a modern, competitive, and connected regional bank with the global financial ecosystem.

This momentum marks Bank Jakarta's strategic move to strengthen its cross-border transaction capabilities for various customer segments.

Governor Pramono expressed his pride in the collaboration that Bank Jakarta has carried out with VISA.

"I will use it, and I will proudly use the Bank of Jakarta Visa Debit. Hopefully this will also make me feel confident that Bank of Jakarta Visa Debit can really be trusted for the Global class, especially the cooperation with Visa," he explained.

Bank Jakarta's Visa Debit Card comes in two variants, Visa Classic and Visa Platinum, including an option for customers with the need for service based on sharia principles. In terms of security, the Bank Jakarta Visa Debit Card is equipped with EMV chip technology to minimize the risk of skimming, as well as 3D Secure protection for online transactions, so that it provides a sense of security and convenience for customers in digital transactions.
