Lampaui Target, Total Intake Kilang Pertamina Internasional Caai 300 Juta Barel
JAKARTA - PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) recorded the total amount of raw materials processed, or Total Intake KPI for the period January to November 2025 reached more than 300 million barrels.
KPI Corporate Secretary, Milla Suciyani, said this figure exceeded the target set, which was almost 290 million barrels, or an increase of almost 5 percent.
"In the same period, KPI also managed to increase the percentage of refinery processing results, where Total Yield reached 94 percent of the intake volume," said Milla, Monday, January 5.
Meanwhile, in the Yield Valuable indicator, as of November 2025, the realization achieved by the KPI has almost reached 84 percent, exceeding the target of around 83 percent.
According to Milla, this indicates an increase in the number of high-value refinery outputs. And on the energy efficiency side, KPI managed to reduce the Energy Intensity Index (EII) to 106, better than the target of 107. The smaller the EII figure, the better the refinery performance.
KPI also noted that by November 2025, the decarbonization program had managed to reduce emissions by more than 400 thousand tons of CO2eq. This figure is above the cumulative target of 330 thousand tons of CO2eq, or 120 percent.
These steps reflect the consistency of KPI in implementing an efficiency- and technology-based emission reduction strategy, especially in scope one which includes direct emissions from refineries. KPI emphasizes that decarbonization is not just a short-term project, but rather a part of the company's work culture.
"This is a tangible proof that the energy transformation carried out by KPI is running and measurable. We are committed to making decarbonization a working culture, not just a short-term project," said Milla.
