Samsung Introduces the World's Brightest QD-OLED TV

JAKARTA - Samsung introduced its latest smart TV, the 77-inch QD-OLED TV. This device is claimed to be the world's brightest QD-OLED TV panel with a peak brightness level of 4,500 nits.

This level of clarity is achieved thanks to the maximum merging of the peak luminance of each RGB color component (Red, Green, Blue). This technology is able to increase color purity without having to rely on white sub-pixels as in conventional OLED panels.

Samsung also optimizes the images displayed on the screen with Artificial Intelligence (AI) support. Thanks to this technology, this latest generation TV can automatically adjust visual quality based on the type of content and lighting conditions around the room.

This technology is reportedly to be exhibited at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). In addition to televisions, Samsung Display, a part of Samsung Electronics, will also demonstrate a variety of unique AI-based innovations at the event.

One of them is the AI OLED Bot, a small teaching assistant robot equipped with a 13.4-inch screen. The company will also set up a special endurance zone to prove the strength of their artificial folding screen.

In the zone, the robot arm will hit the OLED folding panel with a basketball repeatedly to show extreme durability. Another technology that Samsung will showcase at CES 2026 is the OLEDoS microdisplay which has a very high pixel density of up to 5,000 PPI.

This panel is designed to meet the needs of Extended Reality (XR) devices. All of these technologies can be seen live in Las Vegas for four days, from January 6 to 9.
