Paris derby, PSG beat Paris FC 2-1
JAKARTA - The famous Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) club won the Paris Derby after defeating Paris FC with a score of 2-1 in the 17th week of the French League at the Parc des Princes Stadium, Paris, Sunday local time.
In this match as reported by Antara, PSG won thanks to goals from Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele, while Paris FC managed to equalize through Willem Geubbels, according to Ligue 1 records.
Thanks to this victory, PSG still occupies second place in the French League standings with 39 points from 17 matches, only one point behind Lens in first place.
On the other hand, the defeat makes Paris FC still stuck in 15th place in the French League standings with 16 points from 17 matches, four points above the relegation zone.
PSG took the initiative to attack first but several attempts they made were still not successful and endangered the goal from Paris FC.
PSG's efforts finally bore fruit in the 45th minute after Fabian Ruiz's brilliant pass was greeted by a shot from Desire Doue, so the score became 1-0.
Before the end of the first half, PSG again had an opportunity through Willian pacho's hard header, but his effort still bounced over the crossbar.
Entering the second half, Paris FC took the initiative to attack first and got a penalty kick after Ilya Zabarnyi was fouled in the PSG penalty box.
Willem Geubbels who advanced as an executioner successfully carried out his duties well after his kick could not be stopped by PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier so that the score was again as strong as 1-1 in the 51st minute.
Only two minutes later, PSG was able to regain the lead through a shot by Ousmane Dembele that beat Paris FC goalkeeper Kevin Trapp so that the score changed to 2-1 in the 53rd minute.
