Saudi Arabia Intensifies Humanitarian Aid Route to Palestinian Gaza Strip

Saudi Arabia has taken steps to expand the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip after King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered an increase in air, sea and land routes to ensure faster and wider access to aid for Palestinian civilians.

This step was taken amid the increasing humanitarian challenges in Gaza and reflects the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to mitigate the impact of the crisis on the civilian population.

Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Rabiah, advisor at the Royal Palace and head of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), said the directive highlights Saudi Arabia's continued involvement in relief operations and its commitment to humanitarian responsibilities during emergencies.

He said Saudi Arabia's aid to Gaza was carried out through an integrated aid network managed by KSrelief, with various programs that address essential needs such as food supplies, temporary housing, health care, clean water and sanitation, as well as medical and logistical support, quoted from Al Arabiya (5/1).

According to al-Rabiah, Saudi Arabia's assistance efforts include aid convoys, the delivery of food and medical supplies, materials for shelters and airlift assistance, as well as the implementation of humanitarian projects inside Gaza.

These initiatives are carried out in coordination with international partners and UN agencies.

He added that the Kingdom remains focused on supporting the Palestinian people during the ongoing crisis, stressing that humanitarian operations will continue as part of Saudi Arabia's long-term approach to helping those affected by the conflict.
