Often Accused Of Being Taliban, Novel Baswedan And Employee Representatives Who Do Not Pass TWK Will Meet With The Head Of PGI

JAKARTA - As many as 10 KPK employees representing 75 employees who did not pass the National Insight Test (TWK) will meet with the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Church-Gerjea Association (PGI) Gomar Gultom.

This was conveyed by one of the KPK employee legal team who did not pass TWK, Saor Siagian.

This visit was carried out to answer the issue of the Taliban and radicals within the KPK, which have been developing in the community. As for the employee representatives who participated in the meeting, one of them was the senior investigator Novel Baswedan.

"Novel Baswedan and nine friends are now meeting with the current chairman of PGI Gomar Gultom," Saor told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, May 28.

Saor revealed that Novel et al's conversation with Gomar would discuss the issue of the Taliban and radicals, which were untrue news. The reason is that those who do not pass TWK are many of other religions, including Christians.

"The Taliban's accusations are false, nonsense because some of our friends are of other faiths and so far have really demonstrated their integrity and commitment," said Saor.

"So that is what we want to share at PGI, so the accusations that are said to be no longer fostered or anti-Pancasila are heinous slanders," he added.

Thus, employee representatives who did not pass TWK plan to meet with religious leaders to confirm this. "So Novel was there together with friends even though they had different beliefs," he said.

Previously reported, as many as 51 employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) did not pass the national insight test (TWK) and would be dismissed.

Deputy Chairman of the KPK, Alexander Marwata, said that the assessors' assessment of the 51 employees was red and impossible to be coached.

"The 51 people came back again from the assessor, he said this color was red and yes, it was impossible for coaching to be carried out," Alexander said in a press conference, Tuesday, May 25.

However, Alexander did not explain in more detail about the benchmarks for the assessment and the reasons why the KPK employee could not be coached.

Meanwhile, the Head of BKN Bima Haria Wibisana explained three aspects related to the TWK assessment.

The three aspects are personal, influence, and PUPN (Pancasila, UUD 1945, NKRI, and the legal government). "For the PUPN aspect, the price is fixed. So adjustments cannot be made, from that aspect, "said Bima.
