Venezuela Strongly Condemns US Aggression, Activates Comprehensive Defense System
JAKARTA - Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil, Saturday (3/1) strongly condemned the United States (US) aggression against his country.
Through a post on Telegram, Gil stated that the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects and condemns the military aggression that the current United States government is openly carrying out against the territory and people of Venezuela.
"The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects, condemns, and declares to the international community the blatant military aggression carried out by the current US government against the territory and people of Venezuela," Gil said in his statement on Telegram.
Gil emphasized that Venezuela condemns all US military aggression launched in the civilian and military areas of the capital of the Republic, Caracas, as well as in the states of Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira.
According to Gil, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has ordered the full implementation of the national defense plan in response to the United States attack, as well as activating Venezuela's comprehensive defense system as soon as possible.
The Venezuelan government also called on all national forces to increase mobilization efforts in the face of the situation.
