Win Various Titles in 2025, the Junior Volleyball Club in Yogyakarta Confirms as The Champions
YOGYAKARTA - The Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat Bumi Mataram Volleyball Academy (BMVC) club confirmed its status as The Champions alias The Champion after reaping achievements by winning various championships throughout 2025.
A coaching club that is far from the spotlight and is often ignored. However, RM Aries Nandarika, owner of BMVC, tries to stay afloat by coaching volleyball for children of adolescent and junior age.
The hard work and tireless effort of mbah Aries, his nickname, is not in vain because his club has achieved various achievements. This makes BMVC show up as one of the best coaching clubs in Yogyakarta.
At the end of 2025, BMVC proved again to be a junior club that is increasingly taken into account at the national level. They deserve to be called The Champions, which is the academy's tagline, by winning various early age championships.
"We started by occupying second place in the KKVC Cup in Bogor, West Java. After fighting hard through a tight fight, we had to admit Bandung Tectona's superiority. It must be admitted that Bandung Tectona is also a club that is serious about coaching young people," said Aries in Yogyakarta, Friday, January 2, 2026.
The success of being runner-up in Bogor turned out to motivate the BMVC children to perform optimally at the PBV Purwakarta KU 2013 Cup. This time, they achieved success when they met Napoleon, Bekasi. The BMVC team showed the best performance to win the title.
"We had thought it would be difficult to become champions in Purwakarta after failing in Bogor. It turns out that the children really showed the spirit to become champions. Their champion mentality is very good even though we didn't target anything. We just want to give them the experience of competing and not burden them to be champions," said Aries.
"Once again we focus on coaching the young age in the volleyball branch. The thing that is not well-considered but the existence of this volleyball academy will bring up the young generation of the branch," he said again.
BMVC again carved an impressive achievement when appearing at the Indonesia Volleyball Champions Cup in Wonogiri in the 2011 age category. Closing 2025, BMVC managed to win the national third place at the DKI Jakarta Dispora Cup and bring home the rotating Kemenpora trophy.
According to Aries, the success of carving achievements in various championships throughout 2025 is the result of hard work from all parties, especially the fighting spirit of BMVC young athletes in every championship.
"The success of BMVC is the result of hard work from all parties, especially the players who always appear full of enthusiasm at every event. Even though my health condition has declined, I still try to attend and accompany the children at every championship," he said.
Successful in 2025, BMVC hopes to continue it when entering 2026. BMVC has prepared a training program with a focus on national events.
Aries said that at least eight championships had been included in the BMVC agenda, with the hope of being able to achieve even better achievements.
