The Zombie Fight Game Quarantine Zone: The Last Check will be released on January 12 on Steam

JAKARTA - The zombie fighting simulation game titled Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, is confirmed to be launched for PC via Steam on January 12, 2026.

Developed by Brigada Games and publisher Devolver Digital, since it was first introduced in May, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check has stolen the attention of the gaming community.

The game has even made it onto the wishlist of more than 1.2 million Steam users, while its free demo version has already been played by more than two million players.

In Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, you will play as a government agent who is on duty at a crucial checkpoint in the middle of a zombie outbreak.

Your main task is to screen survivors who want to enter the safe zone, while managing very limited resources and making difficult decisions to determine someone's life and death.

Not only do you manage logistics such as food, fuel, and defense systems, you are also faced with humanitarian aspects such as trust, despair, and the consequences of every decision you make.

The developer said that in the official release version, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check will present various new features that are not available in the demo version.

One is a portable X-ray machine to scan survivors' internal organs to detect signs of infection - or ensure they are not smuggling contraband.

In addition, there is a metiascope to examine the survivors' eyes, as well as a medical reflex hammer to test the body's response. Players can also use the laboratory to research cases with mysterious symptoms and discover new variants of the dangerous virus.

Another feature is the feeding cage, a special cage for zombies that is used to dispose of bodies. Although it sounds brutal, the government in the game will give a big reward for every body that is handed over.

Even so, the developer said there are still many other improvements that will be implemented to improve the headquarters defense system and overall gameplay. So, wait for the release later.
