JAKARTA - PT Pintu Kemana Saja (PINTU), an officially registered crypto asset investment platform in Indonesia, has contributed to the post-disaster recovery in Sumatra, specifically in Aceh, namely Lubuk Sidup Village, Sekerak District, Aceh Tamiang. PINTU donated four Starlink units to the area in cooperation with the Independent Volunteer Team & the Breaking the Chain Movement Foundation. The distribution of Starlink devices was carried out by the volunteer team on December 26-30, 2025.
Andy Putra, SVP Strategy & Business PINTU, revealed the company's commitment to helping those affected.
"PINTU is taking part to support the acceleration of connectivity recovery by sending four starlinks and their subscription fees for the next three months, which were handed over directly through the Independent Volunteer Team and the Breaking the Chain Movement Foundation. We hope that this assistance can provide great benefits for residents in Aceh to be able to continue to be connected in the internet network to facilitate communication with relatives, volunteers, and also the government," he said in a written statement, Friday, January 2.
Ngomongin Uang Glenn Ardi Founder & CEO who is part of the Independent Volunteer Team appreciates PINTU for providing assistance to brothers and sisters in Aceh who were affected by this disaster.
"Together with the Independent Volunteer Team and the Breaking the Chain Movement Foundation, we managed to enter areas that had previously been cut off, but are now gradually recovering. This assistance is very valuable to provide internet connectivity for affected residents," he explained.
As is known, there have been landslides and floods that have a direct impact on three provinces in Indonesia, namely North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Aceh. Many accesses are paralyzed from highways to telecommunications channels including the internet network.
"Efforts to work together and shoulder to shoulder with all parties, no matter how small their contribution, are believed to be able to accelerate the recovery of this disaster and relieve the burden of our brothers and sisters who are affected. Through this initiative, we want to share the burden together and invite all elements of society to contribute, for a faster recovery," concluded Andy.
