Had A Meeting With PKS, PAN Claimed Not To Be Busy Discussing The 2024 Presidential Election
JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) said it had not yet discussed preparations related to the upcoming 2024 presidential election. Including, who will be supported by the party bearing the sun.
"There has been no detailed discussion or discussion regarding the 2024 presidential election," said Secretary General of PAN Eddy Soeparno, Friday, May 28.
He said this was related to a number of political parties that had opened up opportunities for coalitions by establishing intensive communication.
Even though they had met with PKS some time ago, according to him, currently PAN cadres are focusing on going to the field to help people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eddy said, if there had been an internal discussion about the 2024 Election, then PAN would definitely focus more on discussing the niche of people's votes to win the party.
"If there is a discussion like that, what we will focus on first is that the election for us is very important. Because the election will be held earlier than the presidential election," explained the deputy chairman of Commission VII DPR RI.
It is known that a number of political parties have openly acknowledged that they have established communication with other political parties towards the 2024 Presidential Election.
As PPP Deputy Chairperson Arsul Sani, who claims to have discussed with the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Teuku Riefky Harsya, regarding the 5-year democratic party event.
As well as the Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, who said he opened the opportunity for a coalition with PDIP.
