Prabowo Subianto Reviews Housing to Meetings in Aceh on January 1, 2026

President Prabowo Subianto reviewed the construction of the Danantara residential house, to hold a coordination meeting in Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province, Thursday or the first day of 2026.

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi at the Soewondo Air Force Base, Medan, North Sumatra, Thursday, said that President Prabowo's visit to Aceh Tamiang was a continuation of the president's work agenda in South Tapanuli Regency on Wednesday (31/12) to review, as well as spend the New Year's Eve with the community.

"Today is the first day of 2026, he visited Tamiang and held a coordination meeting with several related ministers. Once again to ensure the rehabilitation process, the reconstruction process is running as quickly as possible," he said.

During his visit to Aceh Tamiang, the President also reviewed the construction of the Danantara residential house.

According to Pras, hundreds of housing units have been built as part of the plan to build 15 thousand housing units in three disaster-affected provinces.

"Including today he saw that one of the assistance or donations from Danantara, approximately 600 housing units had been successfully built from the planned 15 thousand units for three provinces. But that's just from Danantara," said Pras.

In addition, after reviewing the residential house, the Head of State held a coordination meeting to listen to reports and input from the governors and regents regarding other urgent needs.

"The President received a report that clean water sanitation is very necessary. Then, public facilities such as schools and health centers that were previously affected by the disaster, have not been able to operate optimally,"

"The President asked that immediate efforts be made to accelerate this. This includes the normalization of rivers because yesterday's incident caused our rivers to widen, then piles of wood, and there is also a deposit of mud there," added Pras.

"President Prabowo appreciates all parties involved in disaster management," said Pras.

"I also invite the public to welcome the New Year 2026 with optimism," he said.

"He expressed his gratitude to all parties who have worked hard, volunteers, the community, all of them. Hopefully in the new year we can face all these problems, all these trials so that we can return to living our lives as best we can," he said.
