BPBD DKI Jakarta: Air Gate of the Fish Market on Alert 2, Flood Alert

DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) informed that the status of the Pintu Air Pasar Ikan, Penjaringan, North Jakarta had been raised to alert 2, on Friday.

The X BPBD DKI Jakarta social media page (@BPBDJakarta), Friday stated that the water level of the Pintu Air Pasar Ikan at 04.00 WIB was at a height of 208 cm with a standby status of 2.

"Anticipate areas that are likely to be affected such as Kamal Muara, Kapuk Muara, Penjaringan, Pluit, Ancol, Kamal, Marunda, Cilincing and Kalibaru," wrote BPBD.

Current weather is cloudy around the Fish Market Water Gate.

BPBD DKI Jakarta has disseminated information through social media and notifications to camats and lurah about the increase in status.

In case of emergency, the public is urged to contact the Jakarta Siaga call center at number 112.

Meanwhile, other water gates, such as Katulampa, Depok, Manggarai, Karet, Krukut Hulu, Pesanggrahan, Angke Hulu, Pluit Dam, Cipinang Hulu and Pulo Gadung, are in normal or alert 4 status.

Meanwhile, the Sunter Hulu Water Gate is in standby status 3.
