Jakpro ensures that the sale of tickets to the Planetarium Star Theater is arranged through official channels for the convenience of visitors
Responding to the high enthusiasm of the public and the aspirations that are developing in the public space and social media, PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) or Jakpro confirms its commitment in managing the ticketing system of the Jakarta Planetarium Star Theater.
The ticketing system is designed to be integrated, transparent, and quota-based. This step is taken to ensure a safe, comfortable, and free viewing experience from scalping and fraud practices.
Currently, ticket sales for the Planetarium Star Theater are carried out through two official schemes, namely online purchases (online) through the Loket.com platform and direct purchases (on the spot) at the location, with a quota of 50 percent online and 50 percent on the spot for each show schedule (show).
This scheme is implemented in accordance with the instructions of the Governor of DKI Jakarta to provide more equitable access to the public.
The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, decided to implement the scheme of 50 percent online sales and 50 percent on-the-spot sales after hearing directly from the public about the high interest of visitors and the limited access to online tickets that often run out in a short time. He also emphasized that strict supervision would be carried out for the implementation of the system.
He also emphasized his commitment to maintaining the governance of the Jakarta Planetarium ticketing to remain clean and accountable.
"I have ordered, warned, there must be no middlemen," said Pramono Anung in his statement, Thursday, January 1.
Following up on the direction, the Head of SBU Taman Ismail Marzuki Jakpro, Anya A. Christiana, said that Jakpro would not hesitate to take firm action, including unilaterally canceling tickets, if there were indications of transactions that violated the provisions.
"We appeal to the public to only buy tickets through official channels. Any violation of the applicable system will be followed up according to the provisions," he said.
Anya explained that all ticketing mechanisms have been arranged based on the availability quota of each show, so that it is not possible to add spectators beyond the number of available tickets. The ticket distribution system of the Planetarium Star Theater has been strictly regulated based on quotas.
"There is no additional capacity beyond the available tickets, so visitors who have tickets can watch the show safely and comfortably," explained Anya.
Anya emphasized that Loket.com is the only official online ticket sales platform, while direct purchases (On The Spot) can only be made through the official ticket booth located at the Drop Off Trisno Soemardjo Building, Taman Ismail Marzuki.
"We built this system to prevent scalping, fraud, and alleged involvement of irresponsible individuals. "Jakpro does not cooperate with third parties, individuals, or unofficial channels in distributing tickets," he said.
On the other hand, Jakpro appreciates the active role of the community in maintaining the Jakarta Planetarium and the Taman Ismail Marzuki area as an inclusive, safe, and comfortable public space and education center.
The Jakarta Planetarium now presents a new technology-based concept, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI) that allows educational interaction with visitors. This transformation is part of the revitalization of TIM as an ecosystem of art, culture, and knowledge that is modern and open to the public.
"We will continue to improve the system and services so that the Jakarta Planetarium can become a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable educational and recreational space for all levels of society," concluded Anya.
