President Prabowo's message: Work Together, Care for and Respect Nature
TAPANULI SELATAN - President Prabowo gave a message to work together, take care of, and respect nature when delivering a speech in front of disaster-affected residents at the Refugee Post in Batu Hula Village, Batang Toru District, South Tapanuli Regency, Wednesday, December 31.
In his speech, Prabowo also emphasized that the government would not abandon the people who were affected by the disaster. President Prabowo added that the decision to be in exile on New Year's Eve was made consciously as a form of empathy and the state's responsibility to the people.
President Prabowo acknowledged that Indonesia is a big country with extraordinary natural wealth, but also has vulnerability to disasters.
Therefore, he reminded the importance of vigilance and respect for nature. In front of the residents, President Prabowo also emphasized that the spirit of mutual cooperation is the key to facing disasters.
