He reiterated this in his speech on the main stage of HI Circle some time before the countdown to the new year.

"With this spirit of togetherness and empathy, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has chosen not to present fireworks and firecrackers on New Year's Eve. This decision was taken as a form of sensitivity and respect so that the new year is perceived with simplicity, concern, togetherness," said Pramono in front of residents celebrating New Year 2026 at HI Roundabout.

Until the countdown to January 1 at 00.00 WIB, more and more fireworks decorated the sky in unison from various directions.

In fact, at the right time of the year, a type of smoke bomb was launched right in front of the main stage, bringing the atmosphere of the New Year's Eve 2026 to a more festive atmosphere.

Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (HI) is the main point for the New Year's Eve celebration. A number of musicians who performed included d'Masiv, Marion Jola, Feel Koplo, Andmesh, and Gondal Gandul Band.

The New Year's Eve celebration in Jakarta this time carries the theme of Jakarta Global City: From Jakarta with Love. The activity was filled with prayers of various religions and fundraising for people affected by disasters in Aceh, West Sumatra, and North Sumatra.

Still in his remarks, Pramono revealed that the DKI Provincial Government had collected donations for victims of the Sumatra disaster and other regions in Indonesia up to more than Rp3 billion.

The donation collected by the DKI Provincial Government through BAZNAS BAZIZ DKI Jakarta will be closed on January 1, 2026 at 01.00 WIB or exactly where the peak event of the New Year 2026 ends.
