Menkeu Purbaya Claims 2025 State Budget Performance Remains On Track until the End of the Year

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said that the performance of the State Budget (APBN) until the end of 2025 is still on track or on track.

He added that the Government would continue to monitor until the closure of the fiscal year tonight.

"The performance of the state budget is on track and under control. We continue to monitor the state budget until it is completed later tonight at 12.00," said Purbaya, in a press conference, Wednesday, December 31.

He added that the state budget would continue to be managed as the main instrument to maintain stability and encourage the acceleration of economic growth.

Purbaya is committed to ensuring that all of President Prabowo Subianto's priority programs are implemented effectively and have a real impact on strengthening community protection.

According to Purbaya, the economic conditions from the beginning of 2025 to around September experienced a significant slowdown.

However, he said that thanks to the adjustment of fiscal policies carried out by the government and the support of the Central Bank, the national economy began to show a fairly good recovery.

He admitted that the policy of injecting liquidity into the banking sector had not previously provided the most optimal results as expected,

According to him, the results were due to the lack of synchronization of policies between the government and the Central Bank, however, the problem has now been resolved.

"So the last month has been very good, the important thing is that in the future with policies that are increasingly synchronized between us and the Central Bank, our economy will grow better than now," he concluded.
