PGN Boyong Apresiasi BPH Migas 2025, Dedikasi Konkret Penyediaan Energi untuk Negeri

JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN) is committed to making a real contribution to maintaining national energy resilience through the provision of natural gas. This step is also carried out through synergy with the government and other stakeholders so that the benefits of natural gas can be felt continuously by the community. For this contribution, PGN received appreciation in the 2025 BPH Migas Appreciation which was handed over on Tuesday, December 30 evening.

The first appreciation received was the Appreciation of Business Entities in the Development of Jargas. PGN has built jargas independently and carried out assignments from the government with state budget funds. To date, PGN serves more than 817,000 Home Connections (SR) in various regions. In every step of development, PGN always coordinates actively with BPH Migas to ensure the reliability of services for end users.

PGN is the only business entity that receives appreciation from BPH Migas for its contribution to the development of jargas. This is also strengthened by PGN's innovation in developing jargas independently, without the state budget, for households and small customers with pipeline gas and CNG modes.

Head of BPH Migas Wahyudi Anas stated that the steps of business entities in the development of jargas independently are expected to reduce imports of LPG raw materials and the growth of independent jargas customers by 25 percent since the development of the APBN jargas since 2007.

"Since 2021 - 2025, BPH Migas has also set various strategic policies. One of them is a special right for the Batam City Distribution Network (WJD) where PGN is the winner of the auction for the right," he explained.

PGN is also the implementer of the HGBT Gas Distribution Policy. Therefore, PGN received the Appreciation of the Largest Business Entity that Conducts HGBT Assignments from the Government.

"As a form of support for government programs, PGN is committed to always maintaining energy availability for industry and society. PGN also optimizes its role in providing energy as well as rapid action in distributing assistance in the affected areas of Sumatra," said PGN Commercial Director Aldiansyah Idham.

BPH Migas gives special appreciation to PGN as a Business Entity that has supported the provision and distribution of energy in the affected areas of Sumatra. In addition, PGN and its subsidiaries, PT Transgasindo Indonesia (TGI) and PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) received appreciation for the synergy of downstream migas business entities and BPH Migas in disaster management in Sumatra.

PGN was also named the Best Largest Business Entity. With integrated natural gas infrastructure, PGN distributes natural gas to various customer segments with a volume of 833 BBTUD and a transmission of 1,622 MMSCFD as of September 2025 (9M 2025).

Furthermore, the other Apresiasi BPH Migas 2025 that was obtained was: - Best Largest Transportation Business Entity - Pertagas and TGI - Contribution of Business Entities to State Revenue in the Field of Natural Gas - Pertagas and PT Kalimantan Jawa Gas (KJG)

"The best dedication from all PGN officers is very important so that the company can continue to provide sustainable and adaptive natural gas services in the face of all existing challenges. We also always strive to make PGN's presence provide optimal benefits for the surrounding community, spur the country's economic wheel and support the realization of energy self-sufficiency," concluded Aldi.

With the portfolio and capabilities it has, PGN will continue to optimize the use of natural gas as a cleaner energy and create added value for Indonesia. The appreciation and support from the government and other stakeholders encourage PGN to continue to move forward and become stronger in the future.
