BANDA ACEH - The Aceh High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has taken firm action and proposed a sentence for an employee of the North Aceh District Prosecutor's Office who was raided by residents at the official residence related to liquor.

Head of the Legal and Public Relations Section of the Aceh Prosecutor's Office, Ali Rasab Lubis, said the Aceh Prosecutor's Office team had investigated and intensively examined the employees who had previously been raided by residents.

"This firm action is a form of the prosecutor's commitment to maintaining the honor of Adhyaksa. The Aceh Prosecutor's Office has also proposed disciplinary punishment for the accused to the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia," he said as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 31.

Previously, residents of Gampong Kuta Lhoksukon, North Aceh Regency, came to the North Aceh District Attorney's Office on Thursday (25/12) early morning. The arrival of residents was related to the alleged existence of a party to drink alcohol.

"At the meeting there were employees of the North Aceh District Attorney's Office with the initials FR, AP as security personnel, and a woman with the initials NS," said Ali Rasab Lubis.

From the results of the investigation and examination, he said, there was no evidence of a party to drink alcohol and no two-person relationship between men and women in the mess. They were three, so the narrative of immoral acts was not proven factually.

"Regarding the liquor at the party, it was found in a condition stored in a cabinet. The liquor was for personal consumption by the employee with the initials FR and was not being consumed together at the time of the incident," said Ali Rasab Lubis.

Regarding the discovery of one airsoft gun, Ali Rasab Lubis said the weapon was taken illegally or without the correct procedure from the Intelligence Section room in 2023.

"Regarding the security personnel with the initials AP, the institution returns him to the service provider for termination of the employment contract. AP is considered in carrying out security duties at the meeting," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Aceh Attorney General's Office, Yudi Triadi, apologized to the public for the inconvenience and commotion caused by the individual employee.

Yudi Triadi emphasized that firm action is not merely an administrative punishment, but a real message that there is no place for anyone who harms the values of sharia and integrity in the Land of the Two Holy Mosques.

"The prosecutor's institution is not just a justice seeker office, but a home for moral values. We are aware that public trust is the breath of our work," said Yudi Triadi.
