Atalia Assures There Are No Other Female Names in the Divorce Case against Ridwan Kamil
BANDUNG - Member of the House of Representatives Atalia Praratya confirmed that there was no other woman's name in the divorce lawsuit filed against former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil at the Bandung Religious Court.
"Oh no. In the lawsuit there is no other woman's name involved," said Atalia after attending the continuation of the divorce lawsuit with a mediation agenda and witness examination at the Bandung Religious Court, Wednesday, December 31.
Atalia Praratya said the trial process was waiting for the next stage, which is estimated to last about a month.
He also asked for prayers so that the entire process could run smoothly and hoped that the case could be completed soon because both parties agreed to divorce.
"Please pray that everything goes smoothly. The sooner, the better. Alhamdulillah, both parties have agreed," said Atalia.
Atalia Praratya's lawyer, Debi Agusfriansa, said his client would attend all the scheduled court sessions, including presenting witnesses.
"Today the agenda is to report the results of the mediation, then the reading of the lawsuit, the answer, the possibility of replications and duplications, presenting two witnesses, and finally the conclusion," said Debi.
He explained that the Bandung Religious Court and both parties agreed to expedite the trial process after the results of the mediation between Atalia Praratya and Ridwan Kamil were declared complete.
"Usually, it takes one month if the mediation drags on. However, the results of the mediation came out on Friday, December 17, and both parties agreed. Therefore, today it was immediately scheduled," he said.
Debi also emphasized that the divorce lawsuit filed by his client was not related to other parties whose names were circulating in the public sphere.
"The names that are circulating, such as AK, LM, or SM have never been in the contents of the lawsuit. We are surprised by the various speculations that have emerged. In fact, our client and the defendant have been separated for six months," he said.
