Senior Taiwanese singer Denny Tsao found dead at his residence

JAKARTA - The Taiwanese entertainment world is shrouded in deep grief. Senior singer Denny Tsao reportedly died suddenly at his residence in Sanchong, New Taipei City.

The man who was popular in the 1980s breathed his last at the age of 66.

Launching CNA, Tsao was found unconscious on Sunday, December 29 at night local time.

The death of this figure known for being outspoken surprised many parties because it happened suddenly.

Firefighters from the Sanchong branch, New Taipei City, were dispatched to the location after receiving an emergency call, but the artist's life was not saved.

For information, Denny who has the original name Tsao Hsi-ping, is a big icon in the Mandopop music industry. Starting his career in the early 1980s, he was dubbed the "Hideki Saijo from Taiwan" because of his energetic and charismatic stage performance.
