17 Defendant in the Prada Lucky Case Sentenced to Prison with Dismissal
KUPANG - A total of 17 defendants in the case of persecution to the death of Prada Lucky Namo, were sentenced to 9 years for officers and 6 years in prison for ensigns and non-commissioned officers, accompanied by additional punishment in the form of dismissal from the military service of the Cq TNI Army.
"The defendants are proven to have legally and convincingly committed criminal acts in the service by deliberately beating a subordinate and in a way that hurts him and causes death, which was done together," said the Chairman of the Panel of Judges Major Chk Subiyanto at the continuation of the Prada Lucky case with the agenda of reading the verdict on case 41-K/PM.III-15/AD/X/2025 involving 17 defendants, at the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Kupang Military Court III-15, Antara, Wednesday, December 31.

"The panel of judges in the verdict sentenced defendants 1 to 7 and defendants 9 to 15 and 17 (rank of Enlisted and Non-commissioned Officer) in the main criminal case to 6 years in prison, minus the period of temporary detention, and imposed an additional sentence of dismissal from military service.
"Meanwhile, the defendants 8 and 16 (officers) in the main crime were imprisoned for 9 years, reduced by the period of temporary detention, and imposed an additional sentence of dismissal from military service.
"The two officers are Lt. Inf. Made Juni Arta Dana and Lt. Inf. Achmad Thariq Al Qindi Singajuru S.Tr. (Han), both of whom are platoon commanders (danton).
"The judge also ordered the defendants to pay restitution to the family of the deceased Prada Lucky Namo maisng, each of Rp. 32,036,768," said the judge.
"If not paid within 30 days after the decision has the force of law, the Military Audit orders the defendants to carry out the restitution at the latest 14 days after receiving the news. If within the specified time it is not carried out, the Military Audit confiscates the defendants' assets to meet the restitution, and if the defendants' assets are insufficient for the payment of restitution, they will be replaced with a one-month imprisonment," said Major Subiyanto in a trial that was open to the public, and was also attended by relatives of the victims and the defendants.
After reading the verdict, the Head of the Supreme Court, Major Chk Subiyanto, asked the defendants again to clarify the verdict, and the defendants were asked to consult with their legal advisers.
After arguing, the defendant's legal advisor expressed his thoughts. The Military Audit Party also expressed the same thing. The thinking time is 14 days, to appeal or accept the verdict.
1. The verdict of the panel of judges is the same as the Military Audit's demand read at the previous hearing, December 10, 2025.
"The panel of judges agreed with the military auditor who referred to Article 131 of the Military Criminal Code (KUHPM) which regulates the persecution by the military against subordinates, and from the facts of the trial, both the defendant's testimony, witnesses, experts and evidence of clues that indicate the existence of a crime and have fulfilled the elements.
During the trial, Major Subiyanto was accompanied by two members of the panel of judges, namely Captain Chk Denis C. Napitupulu, and Captain Chk Zainal Arifin A. Yulianto.
Meanwhile, the defendants in the PH case are Mayor Chk Gatot Subur, and Letda Chk Benny Suhendra Las Baun, and the Military Audit Party, namely Lieutenant Colonel Chk Yusdiharto, Lieutenant Colonel Chk Alex Pandjaitan and Major Chk Wasinton Marpaung.
"The alleged case of severe persecution that led to the death of Prada Lucky Namo involved 22 defendants packaged in three Investigation Reports (BAP), namely BAP of one defendant (Danki A), BAP of 17 defendants, and BAP of four defendants.
"The case is about the case of the defendant Danki A Yonif TP 834/WM Lettu Inf Ahmad Faisal, case number 40-K/PM.III-15/AD/X/2025 with the defendant Danki A Yonif TP 834/WM Lettu Inf Ahmad Faisal, case number 41-K/PM.III-15/AD/X/2025 with 17 defendants, and case number 42-K/PM.III-15/AD/X/2025 with four defendants, namely Sertu Thomas Desamberis Awi, Sertu Andre Mahoklory, Pratu Poncianus Allan Dadi, and Pratu Rofinus Sale.
"The continuation of the trial with the agenda of the decision of the panel of judges on Case No. 40-K/PM.III-15/AD/X/2025 and Case No. 42-K/PM.III-15/AD/X/2025 is also scheduled for today," he said.
"The victim was abused by his senior at the 834/Wakanga Mere Development Territorial Battalion in Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) with the pretext of training. He was treated at the health center and then referred to the hospital until he breathed his last on August 6, 2025.
"The pattern of harsh training that resulted in the death of the victim was said to be related to allegations of sexual deviation (LGBT) involving Prada Lucky and Prada Richard.
