iPhone 17 Pro Problem Causes a Clicking Sound During Charging

JAKARTA - A new problem has been found in the iPhone 17 Pro series, namely on the speaker. Some users complain about static noise that reportedly appears when the device is charging.

This disruption is much discussed on Reddit as well as the Apple Support Community. Users describe this disruption as a static old radio sound. Usually, this sound appears when they play audio.

However, some other users claimed to still hear static sounds even though the speaker was not being used. Strangely, the crackling sound was reported to appear sometimes when users scrolled through web pages.

Although often associated with charging, some units still emit this sound at low volume. The severity of this problem varies from one device to another.

One of the videos uploaded by a user on YouTube shows a very extreme sound interference. In fact, this interference can interfere with hearing because it sounds very loud even when not playing audio.

This is a very serious problem and needs to be addressed. Unfortunately, Apple's newly launched iOS 26.2 software update does not provide a permanent solution for affected iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max users.

Several users have also tried to exchange their units, but similar problems are still found on new devices. To date, there has been no indication of Apple's efforts to fix the problem.
