Encourage Digital Transformation of Management, SUN Energy Launches SUN Hub

JAKARTA - Closing 2025 and welcoming a decade of the company's journey in the coming year, SUN Energy launched SUN Hub, an integrated web-based digital platform designed as a solar energy project management portal for business partners.

SUN Energy CEO Emmanuel Jefferson Kuesar said that SUN Hub was developed to meet the increasingly complex needs of customers, not only in monitoring the performance of the Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system, but also in managing project data, optimizing energy use, and improving internal capabilities through continuous learning.

"In the midst of increasing demands for efficiency, transparency, and accountability for sustainability, many companies still face the challenge of fragmented energy management," he said in a statement, Wednesday, December 31.

He added that various global studies show that although more than 90 percent of companies have initiated digital transformation, about 95 percent of them have not obtained optimal results due to the lack of data integration and visibility.

According to him, similar challenges also often occur in the management of solar energy systems at industrial facilities spread across various locations.

He added that the initial launch of the SUN Hub was carried out to answer the challenges of digital transformation that many companies are still facing, especially in the management of solar power plants in the industrial sector which require operational reliability, accuracy, and data-based decision making in real time.

Emmanuel said that SUN Hub was developed with an approach that started from the real needs of customers.

"We understand that managing the PLTS system at an industrial facility is not a simple matter. There are many technical data, operational processes, and strategic decisions that must be managed every day," he said.

He added that through SUN Hub, his party wants to simplify and integrate all these processes so that customers can make quick and accurate decisions, based on easily accessible real-time data.

"Our SUN Hub is presented as a platform that answers these needs in a comprehensive manner," he said.

Emmanuel added that as a data management system, SUN Hub consolidates technical, operational, financial data, and sustainability reporting into a centralized portal, making it a single source of truth for business partners in managing energy projects.

As for its role as an energy management system, this platform allows for real-time monitoring of the performance of PLTS, including energy production and consumption, system efficiency levels, and estimates of carbon emission reductions.

According to him, this information helps customers identify opportunities for performance improvement and operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making.

In addition, as a learning management system, SUN Hub provides structured clean energy education materials, ranging from training modules, technical references, to the latest insights on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

He added that this feature is aimed at increasing the literacy and internal capacity of customers in managing sustainable energy transitions.

Meanwhile, SUN Energy's Chief Sales Officer, Oky Gunawan, added that the development of SUN Hub is also part of SUN Energy's efforts to improve the standard of managing energy projects in the industrial sector,

"As the scale and complexity of industrial solar energy projects increase, customers need a system that is able to manage project data neatly, consistently, and easily traceable. Our SUN Hub is designed as a foundation for more orderly, measurable, and ready-to-grow energy project management, in line with the changing business needs of customers," he explained.

The development of SUN Hub is part of SUN Energy's commitment to improving the end-to-end customer experience, from the project implementation stage to long-term management. This platform is designed to be flexible and scalable, so it can be used by companies with one facility as well as business partners who manage a portfolio of energy projects in various locations.

Head of Marketing SUN Group, Anggita Pradipta, said that the development of SUN Hub was carried out with an approach that started from the real needs of customers.

"We developed our SUN Hub so that the benefits of digital transformation are truly felt by customers. Throughout 2025, we have conducted roadshows and direct socialization to business partners to introduce this platform, as well as assisting customers in understanding energy performance and the impact of sustainability generated before its implementation is gradually expanded to all SUN Energy projects in Indonesia," he said.

According to him, more than just a digital platform, SUN Hub plays a role as a supporter of the sustainability agenda of business partners.

By presenting energy consumption data, system performance, and environmental impacts in a transparent and structured manner, SUN Hub helps meet ESG reporting needs while improving companies' readiness to face evolving sustainability standards and regulations.
