The realization of the KKP Marine Management Directorate General's Budget reached 89.57 percent as of December 30

JAKARTA - The realization of the budget of the Directorate General of Marine Management of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) reached 89.57 percent as of December 30, 2025.

For this year, the Directorate General of Marine Management has received a budget of IDR 1.42 trillion and has been realized IDR 1.27 trillion.

This was stated by the Secretary of the Directorate General of Marine Management of the KKP, Miftahul Huda, at a press conference at his office, Tuesday, December 30.

"Actually, we have a fairly large budget in 2025 of Rp. 1.5 trillion, (but) because there is a transformation in budgeting, the effective we can use is Rp. 1.4 trillion. (Budget) Rp. 1.4 trillion is 85.3 (percent) for (spending) goods," said Huda.

Huda is optimistic that the realization of the budget can reach around 96 percent by the end of 2025.

Moreover, he said, currently the accountability for the budget is still ongoing.

"We hope, at the end (of the year) because the accountability process continues, (the realization of the budget) it can reach 95, 96 percent that we can absorb and this is indeed predominantly used for salt," he explained.

To note, the KKP has an effective ceiling of IDR 8.14 trillion for 2025.

The budget will be allocated to support four priority programs.

First, the development of the Merah Putih Fishermen Village (KNMP) in 100 locations is carried out gradually.

Second, the salt self-sufficiency program through expansion and intensification.

Third, the development program of the salt tilapia cultivation modeling in Karawang. Fourth, the development program of thematic cultivation to support the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program as well as community empowerment programs to improve the welfare of the marine and fisheries community.
