Eldegarde Officially Released January 2026, Featuring Unique Gameplay RPG Action PvPvE
JAKARTA - The PvPvE action RPG game titled Eldegarde, previously known as Legacy: Steel & Sorcery, will soon leave the Early Access phase on Steam.
Legacy: Steel & Sorcery was first launched in Early Access format on February 12, 2025. During this period, developer Notorious Studios gathered player feedback.
After perfecting the mechanics of the fight, the class balance, and the core of the PvPvE experience in the fantasy world of Eldegarde, Notorious Studios announced that the game will officially be released for PC via Steam on January 21, 2026.
"Legacy: Steel & Sorcery is now renamed Eldegarde. Play alone or with friends to collect loot, kill creatures, and defeat other players," the developer wrote on his Steam page.
The developer also explained that the change from Legacy: Steel & Sorcery to Eldegarde was made due to design developments and a focus on the game experience during the Early Access period.
The combat system in this game is designed from the start for player versus player. So you can use any weapon during the battle.
You will explore a dangerous fantasy world to fight monsters, complete missions, and collect loot, while facing threats from other players in the same area.
Each session will require you to make quick and precise decisions, whether it's staying longer for more valuable treasures, or immediately leaving the area to secure the spoils before losing and losing everything.
